Tehmina Kaoosji
Tehmina Kaoosji is an independent broadcast journalist with over a decade of experience anchoring live news and current affairs across Malaysia’s public, private, and online media platforms. She currently hosts Niaga Spotlight, a weekly economic and future affairs show on Astro Awani. Tehmina is also the Partner and Communications Director at The Big Picture (TBP) Communications, an advocacy-focused agency driving policy-based outcomes in gender and social development. A passionate gender equity activist, she has led efforts such as the annual Malaysia Women & Girls Forum (MWGF), supported by the United Nations in Malaysia and UNFPA Malaysia. In recognition of her media contributions, Tehmina was named a 2022 U.S. State Department IVLP Honoree under the Edward R. Murrow Program for Journalists.
