Stevens Chan Kum Fai
Stevens Chan is a social entrepreneur and advocate for persons with disabilities (PWDs). Diagnosed with irreversible glaucoma in 2002, Stevens lost his sight completely by 2007. Despite this, he turned his personal adversity into a platform for change by co-founding Dialogue in the Dark Malaysia in 2012, in partnership with Dialogue SE Germany. Through this social enterprise, he has championed public awareness, empathy, and empowerment for PWDs, fostering opportunities for them to reach their full potential. His work focuses on education, inclusion, and building a more empathetic and inclusive society for marginalized communities.
