Mohd Khalid Mohamed Latiff serves as the Director General of Unit Pantau MADANI (PMU) at the Prime Minister’s Office, where he oversees strategic monitoring of national budget initiatives and coordinates high-impact programmes under the MADANI Economic Framework. His work focuses on translating policy into measurable, on-the-ground outcomes through data-driven implementation and whole-of-government collaboration. Khalid has led efforts such as Program Anak Kita, a joint initiative with Yayasan Hasanah, MOF, and MOE to enhance literacy and numeracy among schoolchildren. With a background in governance, delivery systems, and social policy, he brings a strong understanding of public-private partnerships to build long-term national capabilities. Khalid holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and is a graduate of the Institute of Strategy & Competitiveness at Harvard Business School.
