Dato’ Mohamed Nasri Sallehuddin

Executive Director, Khazanah Nasional Berhad and Board of Trustee, Yayasan Hasanah

Dato’ Mohamed Nasri Sallehuddin currently serves as Executive Director, General Counsel, Company Secretary and Head, Corporate & Support Services at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, the strategic investment fund for the Government of Malaysia.

Nasri holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from Aberystwyth University (Wales) and an MBA from the University of Strathclyde Business School. He was called to the degree of an Utter Barrister by the Honourable Society of Gray’s Inn and admitted to the High Court of Malaya as an advocate and solicitor.

Prior to joining Khazanah, Nasri was a senior partner with a leading law firm in Malaysia, advising clients on corporate law and the legal aspects of corporate restructuring, take-overs and mergers.

Nasri is currently a Board of Trustee of Yayasan Hasanah (the impact-based foundation of Khazanah Nasional), Chairman of Think City Sdn Bhd (a Malaysian urban regeneration and impact organisation wholly owned by Khazanah Nasional) and the Chairman of Taman Tugu Project Development Sdn. Bhd.

Nasri is also the Chairman of Destination Resorts and Hotels Sdn Bhd (DRH), the Chairman of Desaru Development Corporation Sdn Bhd, a Board Member of UEM Group Berhad and a Non-Independent Non-Executive Board Member of Telekom Malaysia Berhad where he chairs the Board Risk & Investment Committee.

Telepuk is a stunning traditional Malay textile art that features intricate gold leaf or metallic motifs pressed onto fabric, once reserved for royalty and special ceremonies. This craft embodies the richness of our cultural heritage. Through its cultural preservation efforts, Yayasan Hasanah is bringing Telepuk back to life, supporting local artisans and ensuring the technique is passed down to future generations.
