Masato Seko
Masato Seko is the Senior Director at The Nippon Foundation, where he leads strategic, impact-driven philanthropic initiatives across Asia and beyond. A graduate of Waseda University, he began his career at the Sasakawa Peace Foundation, focusing on non-traditional security and talent development across East, Southeast, and South Asia, as well as the Pacific Islands. Since joining The Nippon Foundation in 2016, he has managed global programs in peacebuilding, conflict prevention, sustainable agriculture for smallholder farmers in Africa, and disability inclusion. His work is guided by a mission to address evolving social challenges through innovative and targeted interventions.
