Ili Nadiah Dzulfakar is the Programme Director of Klima Action Malaysia (KAMY), a feminist climate justice organization focused on movement building and policy advocacy. She specializes in rights-based and evidence-based approaches to climate governance in Malaysia and across Asia. Nadiah provides consultancy on gender-responsive analysis and leverages UN human rights mechanisms such as CEDAW, UPR, and the UNGP on Business and Human Rights to push for legal reforms in environmental rights. She also mentors and trains non-state actors—including women, youth, CSOs, and frontline communities—on climate frameworks such as Just Energy Transition, National Adaptation Plans, and Gender-Responsive Budgeting. In 2023, she was honored with the Citra Madani Award by the Malaysian government for her contributions to women’s empowerment.
